Earlier this year Durden and Hunt further showcased their commitment to the community by participating in Rightmove’s third annual charity regatta. Competing on the day, Durden & Hunt’s Co-Founder, James Hunt, was part of the first place champion team which saw a portion of the £35,000 prize money donated to local charity The Jenna Wilkins Foundation.
The event saw a number of estate agents from across the country come together in teams to race across the seas of the Solent. The seven amateur teams, directed by an experienced captain, competed to win a share of the £35,000 charity prize fund, for their chosen local charity.
The Jenna Wilkins Foundation mission is simple: to support those who are vulnerable to be the best they can be. It aims to do two things; provide sensory rooms, equipment and therapy for children with special educational and emotional needs and provide luxury pamper packs to anyone facing a cancer journey or caring for someone who is.
James Hunt, Durden & Hunt Co-Founder, comments: ‘I’m delighted to have been able to take part and support The Jenna Wilkins Foundation which is a charity close to one of our team member’s heart. They do great work and it was fantastic to be able to take first place and donate the larger share of the prize fund to such a worthy charity.’
